Title Research Analysis Blog Post

 Looking at the series "Severance" the title does not immediately give away the genre or contents of the series or what to expect. However shortly after watching the series the title begins to make sense and quickly falls into place. However the title does set up a theme of mystery of trying to figure out the severity and lets the audience question what may happen in the rest of the show. When comparing our title to the title of Severance, Severance definitely has a more mysterious undertone in the sense of allowing the viewer to guess what the film/series is about. What severance does differently is that they have an actual entrance to introduce the title and credits compared to our film. Overall Severance does a much better job at hiding the intentions of the film however looking over it and seeing what we could do differently is a nice touch.
