Preproduction Plan Blog Post

With the idea we have in mind we are going to only need a relatively small amount of props, costumes and camera options. Even though we aren't going to need that many props ad other things we plan  on making the items that we are using go a long way. What we have in mind for props includes a fake tombstone, A car and one of the actors phones. With the fake tombstone we plan to use it to help cement the idea that the character who got ran over is officially dead. That goes hand in hand with the car, we are using the car to help show how and why the character died. Since we plan on doing a haunting/slasher sort of movie the phone is being used to help show how the character who is dead is actually playing a part in doing the haunting. The issue pf getting them will not be a problem since we already have access to each of the props the only issue we had was looking through old boxes to actually find the fake tombstone prop. Using cameras seemed to be the only issue with our only access to a camera being phones, this served to be an issue because of the low quality or problem it had capturing everything we wanted it to. However we pushed through this issue and made it work because we had to. Overall everything in this department went smoothly other than having a few hiccups with the cameras we made everything work.

The locations of where we are filming include, Pasco Highschool and Burks Park which served to help with the scenery really well because it gives us access to safe roads for filming. As far as permission goes we will be able to film freely without any issues at Burks Park, however Pasco Highschool is different. Pasco Highschool requires us to get passes from multiple teachers and talk with some staff who have questions. At Pasco High we need to go between 10:18 AM and 10:50 AM which was an issue because it will cut our time short. With Burks Park though we will plenty of time depending when every one can meet up. Burks park will serve to be super convenient since we will not need permission but Paso High will be an issue because of all the requirements however we will be able to make it work.

With Positions of power we are not going to need anyone outside of our group to do any scenes or just help with the project in general. As far as I know we aren't going to need specific positions for people in the group because everyone is helping to pitch in ideas and do their part. However if anyone is going to do more of the technical work it will be Gracie. She wont be doing everything but she was the person with the vision so it helps to roll with what she's saying so essentially she's the director. Actors wont be an issue and if anything brining more people on would server as a problem because of the consistency needed to keep them around and in correlation with the project. Bringing people on would create plot holes so it will just be the group members. Overall man power isn't an issue and if everyone sticks to the plan it should go over well
